This collection of essays reflects the two poles of interest on which Francois Bovon has concentrated during the last years: the New Testament (especially the Gospel of Luke and the Book of Acts) as well as the ancient church and the Christian Apocrypha. Nine of the essays focus on early Christian Apocrypha and the ancient church; five essays deal with theological topics at the crossroads between the New Testament and the Apocrypha. The essays are written in German and English or have been translated from French into English for this collection.
