Prof Mikhail Klyuev

Senior Researcher of the Shirshov Institute of Oceanology of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Physics and Mathematics Sciences. He graduated from the Faculty of General and Applied Physics of the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology in 1986. Dr Klyuev's research interests are marine geology, hydro-acoustics and underwater archeology, the development of seismic-acoustic methods, geophysical models, and also interpretations and equipment for studying the structure and objects of the seabed. He has published more than 100 scientific papers.

Prof Anatoly Schreider
Chief Researcher of the Shirshov Institute of Oceanology of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Geology and Mineralogy, Professor. Graduated from the Faculty of Geology of Moscow State University in 1966. His scientific interests are geophysics, tectonics and geodynamics of the ocean floor, as well as the magnetic field of bottom oceanic rocks. He is a leading expert in the field of the chronological scale of linear ocean magnetic anomalies and has more than 200 scientific publications, including 12 collective monographs.


Prof Igor Rakitin



Associate Professor, leading engineer of the Institute of Oceanology of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Technical Sciences. He graduated from the Krivoy-Rog Mining Institute in 1977 as a mechanical engineer. His area of scientific interest is the development of drilling rigs for deep-sea submersibles, methods of marine geological sampling and technical equipment for submersibles. He also participated in marine geological expeditions, underwater deep-diving, and expeditions to the sinken liner "Titanic". So far, he has published about 50 scientific publications.
